My friends got me the coolest birthday gift, the white Fuji Instax Mini 8. This cute camera brings instant pics and joy and you can use it at any time. Since I’ve planned a lot of citytrips the next months, I decided to capture everything with my Instax Mini camera. Here are the results of my first instax trip to Rome. Curious for more? I’m leaving for Valencia next week. After that I’m also traveling to Madrid, Amsterdam and New York City (definitely most excited for this last one!) so stay tuned and follow my journey on Instagram, Snapchat and of course, on the blog!
Rome, Italy. My first 2016 instax city. The last time I visited this pretty city was already 8 years ago so it was about time to go back!
The Colosseum & St. Peter’s Basilica are the most impressive buildings in this historical city. Other things for your to do list are the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. There are two hotspots that I’d really like to share with you. I’ll start with Le Levain, the best bakery/coffee bar located in Trasevere, a typical Italian neighborhood in Rome. You should really go there to eat their pastries, my favorite: ‘Choux‘, a caramelised profiterole. Delicious!
We ended our trip with cocktails at Caffè Propaganda. An amazing bar and dining saloon close to the Colosseum. Advisories: Mai Thai & Mojito. These two hotspots have the most magnificent setting by the way, really worth visiting.
