WECANDANCE X ZALANDO

YES! The festival season is almost here, one of the best things about summer. What else is so great about summer? Cocktails, sunglasses, palmtrees and hot summer nights! Can’t wait! Ever heard of WECANDANCE? It’s an electronic beach festival at Zeebrugge beach the 13th and 14th of August. This summer will be the 4th WCD edition. What can you expect? An incredible mix of music, food and fashion. The festival stands for quality underground music and offers a magnificent line-up with local as well as international talent divided over 4 stages. They team up with several partners to let you submerge into the WECANDANCE atmosphere. Enjoy a summer cocktail, not that standard festival food and get your hair and make-up done by experts. And the best part is, it’s all fitting into one theme. WCD is always linked to apparel, in that way they want to create a scene that lives not only within the festival walls. This year’s theme is… ☆☆☆ SPACE ☆☆☆! ‘What should I wear for this?’, exactly my thoughts when I heard the theme for the first time… Luckily for us, Zalando is there to help us out!

The Belgian weather can be pretty surprising but I still went for a summery outfit assuming the weather will be nice! And if not, too bad because I’ll be wearing it anyway but I’m lucky to have my silver rain jacket. Prepared for anything! This item is – because of its color – probably fitting best in the space category… When I think space I think silver so I tried to match my little black dress with the right silver accessories. So my black dress is basic, but still, I fell for the special cut and the silver zipper on the back. My favorite accessory of this outfit are my silver espadrilles. I mostly love the matte and glitter combination and they also fit perfectly with your favorite pair of jeans. The clutch is a real eye catcher, I’ve always wanted a see-through bag and the shiny sequins make it even more suitable. Ending with these palmtree sunnies and my matching necklaces, I think I’m totally ready for WECANDANCE 2016!
