OUR BATHROOM: BEFORE AND AFTER

Here they are! The before and after pictures of our very first redecoration project at home: the bathroom… I was so so so curious what they would look like… In the beginning there are a lot of things to decide, but you never really know how the final result will turn out and that gave me a lot of stress from time to time. But I was hoping that the combination of black, white and warm finishing tones would be a match made in heaven and for me: it is!

As you can see on the before pictures on the left, it was a very dark bathroom and there was nothing to cheer this place up, really… I tried to add decoration, plants, mirrors, frames… everything to make this bathroom our happy place but I didn’t succeed. I knew we had to add warm tones for a cosy feeling and that is exactly what I was missing… A cosy bathroom where you can relax and take all the time you need to get ready for the day.

But the new bathroom on the other hand… WAW! I am so in love with this place I am taking way too much time to get ready and I have never taken more baths in one week! It turned out exactly how I wanted it to… I am very happy with the colour scheme and of course, the black details were on top of my wish list of the new bathroom… Because who choses for chrome faucets in 2019 anyway?

No. Really. Black faucets are key! It gaves the bathroom such a modern look, I absolutely love it! You can find the links of all our black details from X²O below the pictures.
