The 4th of July I started my very first job. It’s been pretty amazing but busy so right now I don’t have much time to blog… This weekend I’m going to Paris with my parents (YESSS!) which reminded me I still had to share my Amsterdam instax city! So here it is, quick but no less enthusiastic!
Amsterdam is the perfect city to discover new hotspots. It’s that city where you bump into lots of fancy places, without searching in advance. Anyway, good research is always good if you’re not into surprises. These are my favorite hotspots.
SHOP. To do: Love Stories, even if it’s just to admire their beautiful interior. Cotton Cake, cutest store in an amazing neighborhood de Pijp. Sukha Amsterdam, where white & wood are the main colors & materials. Everything in here is handmade and so beautiful. Make sure to check out their beautiful quote cards and posters. De 9 straatjes, where you fall in love with all stores… To avoid: de Dam, most touristic place. Too many people and too little fancy shops.
FOOD. Pluk is definitely the most important one to visit. No better way to start your day… Also you can buy everything you see in there: the dishes, mats, candles and all accessories. Check their website to get a perfect impression. This is my personal favorite hotspot in A’dam! Coffee and cake? My Little Patisserie! Delicious little pastries… The best!
I’m leaving for Paris this Thursday! So excited, really one of my favorite places to be… Make sure to follow my adventures on Instagram and Snapchat (@lisedesmet).
